[Health Plan], in partnership with Emcara Health, is offering you a convenient and safe way to complete your annual health checkup through a secure video call at no additional cost.
Telehealth visits are like your regular doctor visits but completed through secure video calls. You will receive personalized care from a nurse practitioner and will have time to ask any questions about your health and review your medications.
This personalized service is part of your health plan and will be completed at a time that’s convenient for you, even on nights and weekends.
Once completed, Emcara Health will send a summary of your visit directly to your doctor and to your health plan.
1) A Nurse Practitioner will reach out to you in the next few days to schedule your appointment. You can also call Emcara at 1-800-471-1166 to schedule your appointment (TTY 1-800-967-1796), from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.
2) At your appointment, your Nurse Practitioner will discuss your health and any concerns you may have, examine you by video, and review your medications.
3) Emcara Health will send a summary of your visit to your PCP and health plan.
